PET FOOD BANK & HARLEY’S HAMPER PROGRAM
Currently, pet food can only be accessed in Calgary.
Named after Harley Smith – a Weimaraner with an intense love of food and dog parks. Sadly, Harley passed away at the age of 9 after a courageous battle with lymphoma. Harley’s parents are the founders of Parachutes for Pets and knew that a program to help ensure that animals always had a full belly would honour his memory perfectly.
This program helps those who need support with feeding their pets have access to pet food.
We also supply pet food & supplies monthly for local organizations like Mamas 4 Mamas, Good Neighbour Market, Veteran’s Food Bank, as well for Horizon Housing and Seniors Resource Society through the holidays.
The PFP Pet Food Bank is powered by Olympia Charitable Foundation.
Low-income households within Calgary city limits can also apply for a food hamper once every 3 months for a maximum of 4 hampers per year.
