Preventative Care Clinics

Medical care is essential to the well-being of all animals & people. Parachutes for Pets strongly advocates for preventative medicine for all individuals and communities through seasonal clinics for wellness examinations, vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter surgeries for feline & canine companions. Clinic sign-up is limited to low-income households within Calgary city limits who have a pet in need of these services. Once clinics are scheduled, qualifying community members will be able to sign up through our website as availability and resources permit.

Please note that Parachutes for Pets screens applications according to a set of criteria and proof of low-income status will be required, such as a CPP payment stub/deposit slip; AISH card; or a payment stub from a low-income program/letter from a support worker stating low-income status. Clinics will be held at pre-determined partnered veterinary clinics and availability is not guaranteed.
