SAFEKEEPING
This program, supported by Mackenzie Weegar and his family, helps pets stay safe and healthy while their families navigate difficult times.

Through our safekeeping program, animals are cared for at our facility while their families face
challenges such as medical emergencies, domestic violence, or periods of housing insecurity.
Pets in our care receive a safe place to stay, daily enrichment, and plenty of love until they can
be reunited with their families.

We also provide preventive veterinary care—including exams, vaccines, and spay/neuter procedures—for animals currently staying in our facility, helping them stay healthy and ready to return home.
To apply, please fill out the form on this page. Submitting a Safekeeping Request Form does not guarantee placement. Access to the program is dependent on current capacity and eligibility.
