Sponsor A Kennel
Our Safekeeping Program provides a safe and caring environment for pets whose families are facing difficult times such as medical emergencies, domestic violence, or housing insecurity. While their owners navigate these challenges, pets receive daily care, enrichment, and preventive veterinary services to keep them healthy and comfortable until they can be reunited.
You can make a lasting impact by sponsoring a kennel. Sponsors help cover the costs of care for pets in our facility and receive special recognition — including having their name, business name, photo, or logo displayed on the kennel they support. Sponsorship is a meaningful way to support vulnerable pets and families while gaining visibility in the community.

Through Paws for Mental Health (PFMH), Parachutes for Pets brings people and animals together through supportive, animal-assisted mental health and wellness programming. Our programs create opportunities for connection, emotional well-being, confidence-building, and meaningful interactions with animals.
Your sponsorship helps remove financial barriers to participation, ensuring that youth, seniors, and vulnerable community members can access these experiences regardless of their financial circumstances.

Your sponsorship supports one youth's participation in an in-centre PFMH session, where activities may include creative projects, mindfulness, movement, and emotional wellness exercises alongside our dogs.
These experiences encourage self-expression, confidence, positive social interactions, and the development of healthy coping strategies, while providing a welcoming space for youth to connect, learn, and simply enjoy being themselves.

Through our mobile Paws for Mental Health program, we travel beyond our center to deliver engaging activities, emotional wellness support, and meaningful interactions with dogs to youth and seniors, including those living in rural and underserved Alberta communities.
Your sponsorship helps cover the costs of bringing these experiences directly to participants, including transportation, fuel, program supplies, and activity materials. By supporting our mobile programming, you're helping remove geographical and financial barriers to mental health and wellness opportunities, ensuring more Albertans can experience the comfort, connection, and companionship of animals, regardless of where they live.
