You Thrify Animal keeps thousands of items out of the landfill, supports hundreds of Calgary pets and their families, and depends on donations so all funds go right into programming.

Our pet friendly locations allows for a fun trip out for you and your furry friend!

Parachutes for Pets in an Alberta Non-Profit with a mission to remove the barriers to pet ownsership, recognizing the mental and physical benefits to owning a pet, while also honoring the importance of the human-animal bond by assiting indivduals with their pets. Our programs support Calgarians who are unhoused, low-income, seniors, vetrans, youth, domestic violence victims and those who are in emergency situations.

This thrift store is volunteer-run, allowing all the proceeds created to go back into helping pets.

Looking to donate items to the thrift store?

We accept all new or gently used pet-related items. Please visit our Donations page for our Wishlist and Donation locations.

Items can be dropped off at the Pet Advocacy Center (6120 1A Street W) or You Thrifty Animal Kensington (#105, 1240 Kensington Rd NW) at one of our drop off locations in the city.
