XhAle Brew Co.‘s Tripawd Penelope NEIPA launched in March partnered with Parachutes for Pets to pay back the kindness from a gofundme Christina, XhAle’s founder, received when her cat lost a leg last year after an incident with a car. Without that kindness from her community Christina wouldn’t have been able to get Penelope back.

Not only did we launch this beer with a bang-up gala that helped raise $4000 and brought together a caring community, but ongoing partial proceeds from Tripawd Penelope NEIPA will be donated back to Parachutes For Pets. We recently received a $200 donation from its first quarter of sales, and we hope we can grow this program with XhAle. If you see it at a restaurant or while you’re shopping through a liquor store, be sure to give it a try! It’s a wonderful summer brew!

All of XhAle’s core beers give back to nonprofits to help create opportunity for others often left off the opportunity wheel, and cushion the effects of poverty. They are Alberta’s first all women and queer owned and operated brewing company, and their delicious suds that do good in this world can be found at all good retailers and avenues across Alberta.
